Welcome to the Transylvanian International Model United Nations

April 28 - May 1 2007, Cluj-Napoca, Romania

TRANSIMUN is a simulation of some of the main bodies of the United Nations, plus the European Council, which will be held annually, starting with 2007, in Cluj-Napoca, Romania. Our goals are: improving and developing knowledge about the United Nations and the European Union system, helping delegates to acquire and improve their skills of debate, compromise, negotiation and conflict resolution, and creating a network of motivated young people.

The theme of this first edition of TRANSIMUN is: Meeting the Challenges of Globalization.
